{toc} There are multiple type of users for the Web 2.0 website. These include: * The Public user - a person who browses the website to view and edit content. * The Jetfire logged-in user who may have special Roles associated with workflow permissions. * The CMS logged-in user who may have special Roles used to edit and/or view pages that require permissions. ====Roles==== Users may have zero, one or more Roles. Roles define the privileges assigned to each user. Privileges are defined in the Access Control List of different components used in the design of the website. * CMS Roles provide access to modify pages on the website. * CMS and Jazz Roles can be used to control access to web pages and web parts. * Jazz Roles control access to Workspaces and Workflows. ====The Website==== Using WiebeWorks CMS, the Website may be configured as an open site, where public users can see everything. Alternatively, the Website may be configured to be used by CMS and/or Jazz users who must log in with a specific Role. ====CMS Logged-in Users==== CMS Logged-in Users log into CMS via the [COR Login Web Part|CMS Login Web Part]. Login to CMS allows users to edit properties of CMS and Jazz Web Parts. ====CMS Roles==== Follow these steps to use CMS Roles: # Define Roles using the [COR Create Role Web Part|CMS Create Role Web Part]. # Assign Roles to a CMS User using the [COR Assign Roles Web Part|Assign Roles to CMS User Web Part]. # Add an Access Control List to the page that only selected users are allowed to edit and/or view using the [Role Permissions Web Part|CMS Role Permission Web Part]. ====Jazz Logged-in Users==== Jazz Logged-in Users log into Jazz via the [Jazz Login Web Part]. Login to Jazz allows users access to Jazz workflows that may have provide additional information when Roles are used. Follow these steps to use Jazz Roles: # Define Roles using the [Create Jazz Role Web Part|Create Jazz Role Web Part]. # [Jazz Roles Web Part|Jazz Roles Web Part] to review the list of defined Roles. # Assign Roles to a Jazz User using the [Jazz Assign Roles to Users Web Part|Jazz Assign Roles to Users Web Part]. # Review what roles are assigned to a Jazz User using the [Review Jazz Users Roles Web Part|Review Roles for Jazz User Web Part]. Jazz Roles can also be assigned to the Access Control List (ACL) for Workspaces and Workflows. # Add an Access Control List to a workspace that only selected users are allowed to edit and/or view using the [Assign Jazz Roles to Workspace Access List Web Part|Jazz Assign Roles To Workspace Web Part]. # Review what roles are assigned to the ACL of a Workspace using the [Jazz Workspace ACL Web Part|Jazz Review Roles assigned to the ACL of a Workspace Web Part]
